I would put Lewisham PBP in some kind of Far Left category along with TUSC etc rather than as a local residents kind of group. I know they have Lewisham in the name but they actuallys tood int he Feltham & Heston by-election. I think its the same crowd who had coucnillors under the SOcialist Alternative banner in the north of the borough

Pete - I think you are right to bracket LPBP with TUSC, though strictly speaking they are not the same - LPBP is effectively an SWP front, with the Socialist Party locally usually standing as Socialist Alternative (rather than TUSC, even though they are part of TUSC).
However, SP members have stood as LPBP in areas where this banner has been more prevalent and we have been less active. LPBP is not technically part of the TUSC coalition in the same way the Cambridge Socialists, or the Walsall Democratic Labour Party is though.
Given the crossover between TUSC and LPBF in Lewisham, it makes sense to bracket them together in a way it wouldn't with TUSC and the Communist Party or Respect.
What a tangled web!
