I'm moving house the day after, so the television will be all packed. Or obfuscated by boxes. Or thrown out of the window.

That would put us back to 1955...Mr Eden would be most upset as he had only just got the gig!!

Here's something for you to enjoy in the meantime. Interesting but I find it a bit snobby to be honest. If it's okay for people to change their appearance by covering themselves in tattoos and piercings, why is it such a bad thing for someone to change their accent?

11.10pm: Omnibus - The other Ted Heath (first broadcast June 28th 1970 on the subject of music) Watched this program. It was very interesting hearing about his musical background and how he became an organ scholar at oxford university and his involvement with music over the years.

I am wondering whether Heath will be on TV again for very different reasons in the coming months And lo, it came to pass.

I'd not have thought that Heath was guilty of kiddy fiddling but I don't doubt the cottaging stories.

The police have limited time and resources. Shouldn't they concentrate on current abuse rather than historic?

Ah, well, what they're actually investigating isn't abuse by Sir Edward Heath.

The police have limited time and resources. Shouldn't they concentrate on current abuse rather than historic? Given the long-term period that these abuses have been going on for, it may well be that the more they discover about the overall set-up the better they become at spotting ongoing patterns in the present?
