Following her election to the Westminster constituency of Eddisbury Antoinette Sandbach has resigned her seat in the National Assembly of Wales - her place will be taken by the next Conservative on the North Wales list, Janet Haworth.

Janet Haworth is a councillor for Gogarth ward in Conwy County Borough (covering the northern part of Llandudno).

It has been established that all elections, and this is an election if by one person, to the Parliaments and Assemblies in the UK go in here.

Seriously though where else should such changes go on this board? This section covers the National Assembly and although the event wasn't where the public voted for a new member a new member was appointed to the body by nomination by the authorised person.
