Am I correct in assuming that now Alex Salmond has been elected as the MP for Gordon, he will have to resign his Aberdeenshire West seat in Holyrood?

The ban is on MEPs/MPs and AMs/MPs rather than MSPs/MPs I think. May be wrong.

Salmond was simultaneously an MP and an MSP from 1999 to 2001 and then again from 2007 to 2010. I'm sure he can manage another year of it.
