I've tracked down these news clips for the 1981 local elections from the gold mine that is the ITN Source website. A gold mine though it is, it's not an easy site to navigate so I thought I'd put my finds here for my own ease of access, and for anyone else who might be interested. The sound quality may vary and there could be some partial duplication in some of the videos.
