I have emailed my prediction to Middle englander but have asked for it not to be revealed until after close of polls as I am the agent for the UKIP candidates. I will be at the count tonight and can text the result to someone as soon as its declared. If someone who will definitely be online tonight would like to PM me a number I can text it to. This assumes there are not multiple recounts as I will be going home if proceedings carry on past about 2am

10 entries again for today's by-election with Tony Otim getting 0.1 additional faults for adding to 99.9%.
100% Conservative hold with brianj, Casual Observer, hempie and Pete Whitehead specifying 2 holds, the rest assunmed holds. - 7 have the Liberal Democrats second, 3 Labour second; majority ranges from 6.1% (Pete Westwood) to 20% (Casual Observer)
I think anyone of the top 4 from last night could theoretically be this month's winner.
