Governor George W. Bush has just conceded the 2000 Presidential Election to Vice-President Al Gore after the Democrat took Florida by 3 points, giving him a 291 to 246 lead in the Electoral College.
What will the Gore Administration look like? What will it's achievements be? Would Gore win a Second Term? How would he respond to unpredictable events such as 9/11 and Would he have an impact on British Politics in the way that Bush did during his real life Presidency?

A Gore administration would have been a continuation of the Clinton one, without the stories of infidelity and perhaps more emphasis on environmentalism - which is ironic as it could be argued that Ralph Nader prevented him from reaching the White House.
I don't see how Gore have been able to defy electoral gravity and secure re-election in 2004 after the closeness of the 2000 race. At a national level, once the pendulum starts swinging against the incumbent party, it doesn't tend to swing back again until after they're out.

There's also Hillary. What happens if Gore does win in 2004 too, and has a favoured choice over Hillary? Four years of Democrat civil war?
I could see McCain running and winning in 2004, with the electorate feeling tired of effectively a third Clinton term.
