Indeed. And us having not fought it last time the long serving independent's vote had to go somewhere. I would imagine, being around Alnwick, this is a good area for us in national elections. |

And maybe an indication that the Lib Dem strategy of defending the Commons seats they have at next year's GE is working, as this was in Sir Alan Beith's Berwick-upon-Tweed constituency. |
