So Labour carry Hendon using top vote by 286 votes. If we knew the turnout in Colindale ward on 22nd May for the European Parliament election then last night's result could be adjusted accordingly to (possibly) give a larger Labour majority than 286 votes.

The site appears very glitchy this morning. The posts are there but don't seem to appear as new posts on the threads list, etc...

The site was very slow yesterday just before midnight as well. I think it may be the Proboards 'Angry Bear'.

And you don't seem to be able to edit posts easily either.
I was going to say, if you keep refreshing the browser the later posts do appear

The site appears very glitchy this morning. The posts are there but don't seem to appear as new posts on the threads list, etc... I'm getting the opposite. Seeing that there is a new post (for example here its showing me there is a new post by Robert Waller) but then the post not appearing. It is also showing me a post by Robin on the Lib Dem PLO thread and there was a new poll on tactical voting which I can't see

He'd need an 18.7% swing, so I think that might not be the most relevant question. I think it's highly relevant. Labour should be looking to come second at the GE and win any LA by-elections that come up within the towns at this stage in the cycle. A parish by-election in one of the most deprived wards, that was held by Labour 1995-2011, the PPC should be able to blow everyone else out of the water with their campaigning zeal. Highly embarrassing for Alan Butcher, I would say. I think you'll find that people stand as candidates for totally hopeless seats because they are happy to be on a ballot paper on the clear understanding that they have absolutely no chance of being elected. You assume that the reaction to missing a parish seat will be 'Oh no, calamity, embarrassment, how could this happen' when in fact it is probably more likely they are thinking 'bugger, that was close'.
