The PSD and People's Party also contested the 2004 elections as a single list, but contested separately last time, 2009 results: PSD | 31.7% | * | 8 seats | +1 | EPP | PS (Socialist) | 26.5% | -18% | 7 | -5 | PES | Left Bloc | 10.7% | +5.8% | 3 | +2 | EUL - NGL | CDU | 10.6% | +1.6% | 2 | nc | EUL/EGP** | People's Party | 8.4% | * | 2 | nc | EPP |
* in 2004 the combined list got 33.3% and 9 seats ** The Communist part of CDU are affiliated to EUL. The Ecology part to EGP. However both MEPs are communists. The poll would seem to represent a partial recovery for the Socialists, largely at the expense of Left Bloc. I'd guess they stand to gain 2-3 seats on those figures - maybe 2 from Left Bloc and 1 from PSD.

What does OBN mean in the pie chart above? Is it a political party or does it just mean others? It's written below the chart. "OBN = Outros partidos + Brancos + Nulos". In English, it would be "other parties + blank + spoilt".

I think it might mean Outros partidos + Blancos + Nulos (Other parties and none and spoilt ballots?)
