On 1 May 2013 it was reported that Conwy Borough Council had suspended Angie O’Grady (Lab) (Tudno) for six months, after she tried to use her position to gain entry to a public house. One thing I love about Listener's contributions to the by-election threads is his very deadpan, matter-of-fact descriptions of the bizarre goings-on in some of these town and parish councils! 30 members seems an excessive figure for a Town Council in a place the size of Llandudno. |
