In today's Sun newspaper is an article contributed to about the discussions to increase internet surveillance which has a NO agruement given by David Davis MP which is summaried as "David argued in the Sun that government proposals to introduce a so-called 'Snooper's Charter'- which would oblige internet firms to give GCHQ access to all internet communications- were an uneccesary extension of the state's power to monitor the activities of millions of law-abiding citizens.". Does this mean a second by-election in as many parliaments for the electors of Haltemprice?

why should it ?
Davis won the argumenrt first time round and is not a member of the government.. HE can cause far more pain and grief for the Tories by being on the back benches.

As much as we would all like to see a ballot-paper of that size (or lager) again, I have to go with everyone else here and say, as Bish has so rightly put it, this is a question to which the answer is 'no'
