The non prompting for UKIP has no effect on the low UKIP score in this poll . What has effected it is the severe weighting for Party ID . The initial 256 voters who said they were going to vote UKIP was reduced to just 143 . This was because the poll had 169 UKIP Iders but should have had just 20 . This could be caused by UKIP supporters stacking online polling panels or extra keenness in UKIP supporters to respond to poll requests . A poster on another site has pointed to me a reference to polling research in the US that the latter is a well known phenomenon in US polling .

Odd methodology saw raw data of 205 UKIP responses to 113 Lib Dems change to Headline figures of Lib Dems 13% and UKIP 10%...

Odd methodology saw raw data of 205 UKIP responses to 113 Lib Dems change to Headline figures of Lib Dems 13% and UKIP 10%... Those figures are NOT the raw data - see my post above and the reason why the raw figure was reduced from 256 to 143 for UKIP .

Populus has obviously got fed up with YouGov hogging the polling limelight every day:
New poll:
Lab 39 (↔) Cons 34 (↑2) LD 11 (↔) UKIP 8 (↓2)

so any chance of a Tory leadership crisis then as Cameron is away (4 holiday's in one year ??) so why no restlessness from Tories ?
or why is it hidden away in summer madness ?
