Much movement cannot be expected any longer, i'd say - the % are very evenly distributed in the 6 provinces. Contrary to that, the governing has been unstable recently: 4 different governments in 5 years. (2013 CTP&DP&TDP, 2013-2015 CTP&DP, 2015-2016 CTP&UBP, 2016- UBP&DP)

Sweden is the only Nordic country to have never had a female PM. Denmark has had one and the rest have had two, I think.
(I'm ignoring the Faroes, Ålands and Greenland)

Quite remarkable that the supposed losers of the election cobbled together a coalition keeping the vehemently pro Turkish parties out. Then there was the saga of the Afrika paper who published a headline denouncing Erdogan. Erdogan went on the box and called for his "northern Cypriot brothers" to take appropriate action. The editorial offices of the paper were beseiged ,the police initally stood by but after a vehement public backlash then arrested various individuals including a promonent member of the AKP for assault/ affray etc.
Even more remarkable is that these same individuals were slung in the clink.
The talks toward unification/ confederation have restarted. With a lot more urgency on both sides.

In order to maintain harmony among the forum it is therefore necessary for you to be locked in a cold dark dungeon and force-fed with 46 kilograms of gherkins.

Presumably the 'idiot' referred to the OP but I'm not sure why its necessary to join a pile on 8 years after everyone else had done it
