Or alternatively - Midlothian South, Peeblesshire, Selkirkshire, Berwickshire West & Lanarkshire South East. Or if you want to be really 19th century, you could replace 'Midlothian' with 'Edinburghshire' and 'Berwickshire' with 'Dunsshire'.

Plan oust Farron: Split Kendal into 5. Furthermore all 5 of these seats must be isolated from windemere which is stuck with workington and maryport. Coniston is isolated from both windermere and kendal and stuck with Whitehaven and Barrow. Don't think any seat is of the 7 is remotely winnable. North Lanks and Cumbria have 8 seats, 4 tory 4 labour I believe. Quite genuinely speechless at that - true genius. Any plans to formally propose it?? I would have to come up with a very convincing argument as to why it links natural communities together in a coherent way! I could try, Id send it in for a laugh were the process still ongoing.

I've increased the quota from 72k ish to at least 77k, with an upper limit of around 86k, to see what that extra 5,000 does to the maps (both current and proposed). Subtle changes, as you'd expect. Here's Cumbria with an extra 5,000 added to the quota..... Penrith and Solway - 77,840 Westmorland and Lune Valley - 77,624 Barrow and Furness - 78,006 Carlisle - 83,854 SW Cumberland - 84,064

And Lancashire begins with this new quota of about 5,000 added to low and high Blackpool - 85,961 West Wyre - 83,714 Fylde and Preston North - 85,376 Ribble Valley and Over Wyre - 80,781 Morecambe and Lancaster - 81,913

But you have seats with around 75k which are not therefore 'at least 77k'. So what is the actual quota and what is the actual upper and lower limit? Is it supposed to be a 5% or a 10% threshold?

I can see what went wrong. Got my figures (which were approximate) mixed up with the Boundary Assistant auto-calculations. Rather than fixing it, I'm sure you can see what kind of seats would exist

So what are your parameters? How many total seats would be looking at in the UK?

It wasn't anything fixed - I just looked to adding about 5,000 either side. Nothing scientific.

OK fair enough. I was just going to have a play with London on the same basis. 5000 either side it is
