The Welsh Borders - runs along the entire landward border of Wales.... Probably creating the largest and least accessible constituency in the UK. Think I may have beaten you there!

"Preston Bus Station" and Liverpool Riverside would be a fair likely LibDem target seat!

I need some notional results The aim was to create six constituencies that would all be winnable for Labour.

Some of these suggestions are becoming more than "slightly" silly, I think!

I liked the west Scotland and Wales ones. The point about some of these is that they are reminiscent of some American ones.

Gosh these are 'good'.
Out of interest does anyone know what became of the the 'constituency schedules' that Dr. Edmund Marshall was preparing when Labour challenged the boundary changes in 1983? I recall that the seats, to ensure parity of electors, would contain slices of inner city and countryside (wherever possible) and cross 'new' county boundaries (but adhere to the ancient counties).

So here we have: Spithead and Stokes Bay (Yellow) Fareham (Red) Portsmouth Harbour West (Green) Portsea Island (Light Blue) Langstone and Chichester Harbours North (Dark Blue) No change partisan-wise to what currently exists in the area (though Labour have no chance anywhere).
