There's no clear reason to me why Portuguese Americans would be so anti-Trump anyway. Many of them are Catholic and that group has been slowly but surely shifting to the GOP in recent years. I don't imagine Portuguese Americans are very recent arrivals anyway. A good result, but in context, not super surprising considering the trends the tweet outlines. Massachusetts as a whole had some very interesting results. Trump won a couple of precincts in Boston! |
