As a resident of (another) Bangor I'm well aware that upstate Maine is not like the rest of New England. Though the Bangor you live in is, for all the problems in certain bits, the Bangor, of which the others are pale imitations. True enough. We're about to celebrate one and a half millennia since the settlement's foundation apparently. I'd rather have a 140-year-old university and a cathedral than a racecourse or much more recent city status. |

Considerably less people seemed to vote in the state polls in the sub forum compared to the vote in the overall election thread
