Maine votes to keep its flag. This looks more like Lebanon's flag. I prefer the current blue design.

Too Middle Eastern-looking for my taste. Minnesota's new flag is giving Somalia.

Too Middle Eastern-looking for my taste. Minnesota's new flag is giving Somalia. What else about the Middle East don't you like? I dread to think. Anyway, there's barely any similarity. The only people really pushing that narrative are anti-everything right-wingers.

Too Middle Eastern-looking for my taste. Minnesota's new flag is giving Somalia. Probably because Somalia has an exclave in the North side of Minneapolis…

Mississippi got a new flag. It’s actually pretty decent.

I think that any national (or state) flag should have an easy design with regular shapes such as stripes, curves, circles, triangles, stars, and should not have complex pictures or shield / crest / coat of arms etc. i.e. a design which can be drawn or copied by a reasonably competent child aged 8+.
Therefore I like the new flag of Minnesota but not the existing or proposed flag of Maine.

There's a thing. I don't want rules and regs or anything. But emotionally, I object to residential buildings over 4 floors. Offices, hospitals, universities, fair enough. Maybe student accommodation and old peoples homes
But I think that every home should have a front door and a back door and enough land to keep chickens and I am happy to lockblock the organophosphate soaked taxpayer subsidised greenbelt to achieve this
Observant Muslims could find new and innovative ways to address their antipathy to Lancashire's Homosexuals
