Would it have changed many results? No voter ID requirements in this timeline. Mayoral and PCC elections retain SV. How does Hackney Mayoral 2023 go? I'd guess something like 2-1 in favour of Labour but of course, people would've voted differently in the first round, although I think a second round would still take place.

Labour might very conceivably have taken outright control of Hartlepool council a year earlier than they actually did.

Hackney 2023 second round guesstimate:
Labour 52.16% Green 47.84%
Truly, the banter timeline. The Greens poll ahead in Clissold, Stoke Newington, Dalston, and Hackney Downs on the second round realistically. The bellwether is a ward like Victoria, Shacklewell, or Lea Bridge.

If SV were still in place there would likely have been 1 or 2 Independent Police & Crime Commissioners elected and the Liberal Democrats would almost certainly have held the Bedford Mayoralty, inter alia.

Had the SV system still been in place, the Police and Crime Commissioner elections of 2024 would have been disastrous for the Conservatives instead of just bad.
