Not certain what Claire Young will do, Thornbury and Yate, not only is she Leader of the LibDem Group, but also Leader of Council (LibDem/Lab majority) South Gloucestershire and now an M.P. She is known to be a glutton for hard work! I'm sure I saw in local news somewhere that she was standing down as group leader and council leader but not yet as cllr

Martin Wrigley (Teignbridge, Dawlish North East) has stepped down as council leader but not councillor. This was because it had been removed from his profile on the website, but it has now been restored. Not sure which one is correct.

What have most London councillors done atm? They don't have the luxury of their term ending next May and standing down then. And London doesn't elect in thirds nor have a concurrent election happening next May.

Rachel Blake (Tower Hamlets) will resign soon, wasn't told exactly when. I think Labour want to work the seat a bit to get a headscarf before Rachel actually resigns.

One of them should Bow out to avoid splitting the East London anti-Labour vote methinks. Just look at Newham last week...

West Sussex Worthing West, Beccy Cooper (Lab), Worthing West Just noticed this - I think she resigned from the County Council a couple of years ago, resulting in a byelection on 7 July 2022.

Guess she is about to resign as a Councillor as her Ward are holding a selection meeting for a possible byelection.

Just noticed this - he resigned in advance, and the byelection was held on 4 July. There were bound to mistakes somewhere - good spot. And I have just noticed that was elected in 2017, but resigned in 2019 in order to move to Canada. He has presumably since moved back, but he didn't stand in 2021 so isn't a current councillor.
Edit:
and further did not restand in May 2024, so isn't a current councillor.

It may come as a surprise to you, but not everyone standing in a by-election is starting out with the objective of ‘how can we stop Labour’. Your the quality of your political analysis is rapidly approaching zero.
