Acc'd to wikipedia this is no homophone of the other Wymondham? It is not. The Leics one is Why-mon-dum; Norfolk is 'Win-dam'. A nice place despite being on the wrong side of the Leics/Rutland border

If the three elections planned for 4 July all turn into unopposed returns, that might help - and given where they are, it's not beyond the bounds of possibility.

Two of the elections are in the City of London, so probably all independents anyway.

A decent Tory result obviously, though still their lowest share in this (often unopposed) ward since 1995.

This is a very sparsely populated area, with nothing but small villages in hilly country connected by small country roads. It's as remote as the Midlands get, and exactly the sort of place where elections are not contested.
