Robin Swann has been shifted from North Antrim to South Antrim for the UUP. Has a good chance of a gain

His leader Beattie kind of got tied in knots in interviews on the matter. Personally I don't see the problem and if needs be if he did get elected to Westminster then he could be replaced at Stormont

Spent this weekend in Belfast. The only sign of an election were DUP posters in this constituency, especially Templepatrick. Nothing in Belfast itself.

Not an inspiring list of runners and riders if you ask me but I'd still favour DUP retention. Blair is a seasoned Alliance politician should get a decent vote. Kearney comfortably ahead of Lynch.

Robin Swann got a decent rep as Health minister during Covid which will be why the UUP have moved him over to a target seat like this

Early suggestions (usual caveats) that Swann is in the lead.

Robin Swann has been shifted from North Antrim to South Antrim for the UUP. Has a good chance of a gain I should have remembered your good knowledge of Antrim politics before, Boondock, you called this right. Swann took the ballsy decision in twice opting for Health in the last 2 Stormont Assemblies which all other parties refused as it was a poisoned chalice but the most difficult. Fair deuce to him he's now an MP.
