Should be straight forward gain. I think Wrexham is one of these places with an increasing 'Liverpool affect' - local accent half Welsh / half scouse maybe...

If elected he will not be the first postwar Labour MP called Ranger. Jim Ranger was Labour MP for Ilford South from 1945 to 1950.

Definitely should be an easy gain given how things look today.
Though by English-speaking North Wales standards, this constituency is pretty 'Welsh'.

This is a common mistake. What might sound like a Liverpool influence in the accents of North East Wales is actually the influence of those Welsh accents on the development of the Liverpool accent.

This is particularly noticeable when you hear people switch into Welsh with a North Eastern accent and realise it sounds almost identical |

(Not suggesting she will win) Well her name is Becca Martin, and she's never appeared in that series. Apart from that, she may get a boost from people who are confusing her with someone else. |
