Alot has been said about Mhairi Black but she has a significant achievement under her belt as the youngest ever politician elected to Westminster and a woman from Glasgow to boot, a feat the late Margo would have enjoyed holding herself; one of her inspirations. I wish her well in the future as I'm sure she'll be busy. The seat will surely fall to Labour as a result despite the SNP strength in Renfrewshire.

The SNP are stronger in the 'Paisley' component of this seat which actually voted Yes to independence in 2014, compared to a 'No' result in the traditional Labour towns of Johnstone, Lochwinnoch, Kilbarchan and Howwood.

That is not an 'achievement' but just a rather tedious boring minor fact.
