Dripping wet social democrat David Mundell is one of those people who get elected and reelected because he is a very skilled campaigner and not because he has ever added anything to Parliament. He is otherwise notable for being the father of Oliver Mundell MSP so part of the modern Tory movement to reinstate the hereditary principle in politics.
Mundell bravely came out as gay after 20 years of marriage a mere decade after civil partnership had been legislated showing true leadership.

Just called. Con hold with 33.9% ahead of SNP (24.3) and Labour (22.9). Good effort by Lab
