Almanac profileCandidatesKevin Hollinrake* (Con) Lisa Banes (Lab) Richard McLane (Green) Mark Robinson (Reform UK) Steve Mason (Lib Dem) SOPNAs above plus Luke Brownlee (Yorkshire Party) Interesting to see that Kevin Hollinrake is now noted as residing in the York Central constituency. He used to live in the part of Thirsk and Malton that ended up in Wetherby and Easingwold.

Not to read too much into it but I’ve been in Thirsk today and there are an alarming number of Labour signs outside some very nice houses 😳

That would appear to assume that every non Tory voter in this seat (including Reform) are signed up to the regressive alliance.

Sowerby has quite a few Labour posters in decent places, with a smattering of Green and Lib Dems. Quite a few Green signs along the A170 in the villages near Kirkbymoorside (the candidate's home area) and Lib Dems around Amotherby (ditto). Only Tory posters seen by me are one in Hutton le Hole and one in Appleton le Moors as you enter the common land of the Manor of Spaunton. To the surprise of no one the Lord of the Manor is remaining visibly loyal.
