Orgreave is no longer in the constituency, which also has very different boundaries to 1997.

It's also the case that the site of the Battle of Orgreave is completely unrecognisable and is now in many ways the most middle class part of Rotherham borough. But the people living there are young, relatively well educated and have mortgages, the ward has two Labour councillors, and the Tories did not want it in this constituency. (The initial proposals kept it in, but the BCE agreed with the Tory proposal to move it to Rotherham.)

I guess there's more to this seat than Maltby and I (I'm not the only one) forget that this is effectively a county constituency, and not a borough one.
