This was tight last time. Reform probably come a strong second, but Labour is too far ahead nationally to lose here. However, I may be wrong. This will be Reform's best seat in South Yorks outside of Rotherham. There's plenty of Tory vote to squeeze, and voters are deserting the party, having worked out the con(isbrough). The Brexit Party and the Conservatives got 52% between them at the last election in the old Wentworth & Dearne constituency, which IIRC, has no cash machines? I try to Mae comparisons to US politics judiciously, but this has the feel of left-behind parts of western Pennsylvania, or (non-mountainous parts of) West Virginia. Driving around South Yorks always reminds me of this haunting track:
