Owais has been around the block a few times, it is fair to say.
A member of the Labour party for over two decades, a UKIP Parliamentary candidate in 2015, then he joined the Tories... and now with Georgie Boy.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they were in single digit percentages here. You were right - they were pushed into 5th in this seat with a meagre 7.1% of the vote. Greens came 2nd with 23.5%. Will be interesting to see if they can build on that in future elections as this new seat is the best chance the Greens have of being competitive in a general election in Leeds. |

I’d say it would be their best seat in West Yorkshire. |
