Started receiving ads on YouTube from the Lib Dems telling me that only they can beat the Tories here with Labour in 3rd place. Had to check my Google location to see if it thought I was somewhere else in the country, but no. Clearly the digital ad targeting is not infallible unless we're in for a big shock on the night?

Rofl indeed. I think someone has got their targeting wrong..

Do they mean the middle class centre in next year's locals? If so, that's a good Lib Dem area plus Balby. The most metropolitan Donny wards and not that Brexity.

Please stop pretending you have any clue what you're talking about. Balby is not even remotely 'metropolitan' beyond maybe some nice houses on the very southernmost streets, which fall into Tickhill & Wadworth ward. In fact the last time the LDs stood a candidate in Balby in local elections was 2004. The local Liberal Democrat party in Doncaster is tiny and only managed to field candidates for 6/55 seats last time. I don't expect that number to increase by much next year. A proper LD campaign might have potential to eat into some of the Tory vote in Bessacarr and the newly added Tickhill but that's about as much as they can hope for in Central.

Ignore me (easier said that done given how often I post though) - I did just mean Bessacar.
