Per Bournemouth Echo, Roberts Syms "confident of holding his seat".

Seems that there is a recount going on after a margin of 6 votes in the last count. One person on Twitter suggesting that it was in Labour's favour, although when it's so close with a recount I'm not sure that means much.

Labour were fishing in a shallow Poole here which is why the majority was so small.

Per Bournemouth Echo, Roberts Syms "confident of holding his seat". Yeah, if he says so Btw he was somebody consistently bullish on social media about Tory chances at the GE in the run up to the election. Whoops, and then whoops again.

Syms was quite classy in defeat, clapping the Labour total, & smiling while he shook Neil Duncan-Jordan's hand. So four constituencies which have some of the superwealthiest enclaves in Britain (the others are Chelsea & Fulham, and Cities of London & Westminster, and Kensington & Bayswater) now have Labour MPs. Coombe in my constituency is one of the exceptions.
