Central Devon Liberal Democrats got a lengthy mention on Radio 4's 'More or Less' this week for their previous dodgy barchart. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00202g3 from 4:20 if you want to hear the gory details. Their dodgy barcharts probably saved the Tory MP. Or Labour quietly sinking in the polling? |

Respect to Mel Stride, quite possibly the only member of the cabinet who stood up and fought for the government of which he was a member. A true professional and class act. There must be a place for him in whatever comes next- you need people like that. |

I suspect if Farage hadn't made his Putin comments, Stride would have lost here. Probably one of a handful of seats the Conservatives clawed back with a small swing back to them over the past few days of the campaign as Reform's vote dropped slightly.
