Jessica Toale scored a possible own goal here, suggesting that the unpopular Nautivus bay windfarm scheme which was rejected in 2015 should be revived in hustings. This was picked up by the Bournemouth Echo on Tuesday, and published, with Burns seizing on it in some of his last election campaigning.
Burns has been pushing that Toale is not local and this might tip a few more voters over the edge.

Although there were plenty of people who were anti, I recall as at least as much uproar over it being cancelled as over the plans themselves.

I thought Jessica's name seemed strangely familiar, but couldn't work out why. This morning I found out & remembered; she was one of the more right-wing candidates shortlisted along with me, Christian Wolmar & Sachin Patel for the Richmond Park by-election a few years ago. Both were eliminated early, and their votes transferred mostly to Christian, enabling him to beat me in the end (I was leading after the first round). I seem to remember finding her quite pleasant. I am making good progress learning all the new MPs but am still perhaps a couple of dozen or so short. The most difficult ones to remember tend to be the ones with commonplace names e.g. Rachel Taylor, David Williams. Unusual names such as Steff Aquarone & Kevin Bonavia are easier. As a huge Spinal Tap fan I find Henry Tufnell easy to remember, but sad we don't have an MP called St Hubbins or Smalls.
