Reform's vote share here (23.4%) markedly down on UKIP's in 2015 (30.5%) and in the 2014 by-election (42.1%).

It appears the new Labour MP here is the first (but likely not the last) to have been found saying embarrassing stuff in the past on social media. She has duly apologised.
However one would also note the offending tweets were up to 15 years ago, and my repeated plea for at least some sort of "statute of limitations" on such matters remains.

Reform gain, or maybe Kelly Tollhurst. It’d help Priti Patel become Opposition leader

Look matey, please stop the Nazi comparisons. Priti Patel may be many things I abhor, but she isn't a Nazi. I've told you about this before. (expletive deleted) don't do it.

I’ve removed a Nazi comparison, everyone please do not do this Fair enough but the word in question is still used in Germany in non-nazi contexts. I checked before posting it. It’s a compound word in common parlance that means opposition leader.

I’ve removed a Nazi comparison, everyone please do not do this I didn’t see what word was written or what was removed, but (just in case it was a word beginning with F and with an umlaut in it) I would point out that that word is a normal German word which simply means “Leader” and that it doesn’t have to have any particular connotations if it is not in any specific context. (q.v. the Wikipedia article on the subject). Of similarly innocuous meaning are the Italian word “Duce” and the Irish word “Taoiseach” which mean the same thing.

If it didn't have an -in on the end then it's masculine which means it would be incorrect to use that word to describe Patel anyway. It's not a term that should be employed for the Leader of HM Loyal Opposition unless one's entire paragraph is in German for some reason.
