The Muslim vote here is not especially large and Rayner is in no trouble whatsoever.

The Muslim vote here is not especially large and Rayner is in no trouble whatsoever. I'd have thought it was a given that no-one here would take Staines seriously, least of all regarding Rayner, who seems to have the superpower of causing derangement in many Tories.

She might even get a deputy leader boost - just as Prescott did in Hull, a not-dissimilar area, but some pride that ’our Angela’ will be Deputy PM, a ‘one of us’ to counteract southern Starmer.

Indeed every single Muslim voter in the seat could vote for the workers party (which is far from likely) and she would still win handily. All this clip demonstrates is that she is a good constituency MP that takes the time to meet with groups in her seat and explain party policy face to face.

Presumably not related to Manchester Labour stalwart Cllr John Hacking.
