The Greens put in the work and finished second as Labour fell from 70% to 44%. The Conservative vote halved and their candidate finished fourth behind the Workers' Party. The Greens went from 4% to 17% but that wasn't much better than in East Ham where they did nothing. I presume they mainly worked Stratford and Forest Gate and are going to be building on this for the 2026 locals.

Yep, appalling performance by the winning national party here, down 27%. The winning candidate, a Starmerite professional politician who has zero connection to the east end, possibly explains the disappointing vote share for her.

They have a councillor in Bow as well Yes, I was thinking more of the Newham end of the constituency (the Greens hold Stratford New Town and have an historic presence in Forest Gate). I don't know so much about the Tower Hamlets situation.
