I have seen some Labour garden stakes today, in the West Putney ward.

I would have assumed that it was a spoof. I love it how he cites Andrew Bridgen favourably. Proper horseshoe stuff. Piers Corbyn style - almost transcending left / right and just being far something.

He used to comment on my Socialists Against Antisemitism Facebook page. I think we had to ban him in the end.

Does that mean that the figures declared on the night for Battersea and Tooting were also incorrect or does this only affect the Putney result? I did think turnout was unusually low here and noticeably lower than the other Wandsworth seats.

Unless my maths is off, the new figures correspond to the percentages for the parties that were reported two weeks ago.

:So clearly the political parties were watching the count closely either. Indeed. You could see the odd bundle getting overlooked but over six and a half thousand votes makes it sound like all the party officials were not 'on the ball' for whatever reason!

You could see the odd bundle getting overlooked but over six and a half thousand votes makes it sound like all the party officials were not 'on the ball' for whatever reason! It's a stinker. 1950 Warwick and Leamington 2,000 votes were 'missed'. A line of votes hadn't been added to the totals. Embarrassment for all and apologies quickly accepted.

Presumably a Karl Marx walking tour just hangs around the back of an Engels walking tour asking for cash.

Very good "Marx was skint but he had sense, Engels lent him the necessary pence" - Strummer
