The CPB are the 'Morning Star editorial board' in political party form.

There is a clue in the SOPN. The Communist Party of Britain (CPB) split away from the CPGB in 1988. When the CPGB collapsed in 1991, the CPB took over most of its archives and active membership, such that the CPB is the nearest to being a direct continuation of the CPGB. Accordingly, it is thoroughly revisionist and dominated by parliamentary cretinism.

There used to be two factions in the old Communist Party of Great Britain: The Eurocommunists and the Tankies. The former mostly defected to the SDP so I would go with Tankies.

As a side-note, there is probebly sour grapes from him, as he was expelled from the party last month.

As a side-note, there is probebly sour grapes from him, as he was expelled from the party last month. That makes it OK then

Basically yes, domiciled in Leeds. I can't remember who they were a split from though. I'm sure somebody can.
Incredibly its leader Mike Davies was interviewed by Andrew Neil during the 2017 election

Incredibly its leader Mike Davies was interviewed by Andrew Neil during the 2017 election They are left to Labour, and very much Red-Green. AGS are not really Trots. The Green element is paramount.
