A rare Labour gain in 1987 - the only 'notional' gain in that year in fact, where on the extant boundaries of course Labour gained zero seats and lost a couple. They did however come very close to gaining Dulwich itself and this is really the succesor to the Norwood seat of that vintage, which also swung to Labour that year.

yes they were part of a minor subregional movement to Labour against the regional average, though it was more appreciable in Croydon NW & Streatham next door

you mean Sam Silkin? I think you've attempted to list the candidates who were elected in the respective constituency's nearest linear predecessor in 1979 general election. In fact this constituency contains more of the former Norwood than the former Dulwich constituency, despite the order of the names in the constituency title, so the person would have been John Fraser MP, not Sam Silkin and certainly not John Silkin who represented Lewisham Deptford several miles away.

Considering the Greens' targeting of this seat in 2019, I have to say that I'm surprised this is where Labour got the highest share of the vote in London this time around (edit: and the highest voteshare in any constituency wholly outside of Merseyside as well).
