Better than I expected! I think that most of the remaining Conservative Councillors will be wiped out next year.

A fairly unimpressive second from Reform compared to UKIP in 2015, IMHO. Maybe the demographics aren't as friendly for Reform as they were for UKIP in 2015.

Maybe the demographics aren't as friendly for Reform as they were for UKIP in 2015. 25% is not amazing but far from awful I think - in 2015 there was a chance they could come up the middle and were able to really work the seat, aided by the local presence of Tim Aker MEP. They were presumably not bothering this time as their targets were mostly Tory-held seats as the maths suited those more.

Reform could've done a bit better in Castle Point, though, and I was surprised they didn't take that seat, Reform did a smidgen worse than UKIP did in 2015.

I think it is correct to conclude that Reform doing worse here than UKIP in 2015 is nearly exclusively because of demographic change.

I think it is correct to conclude that Reform doing worse here than UKIP in 2015 is nearly exclusively because of demographic change. Thurrock's UKIP branch was known for being one of the few that were good at elections. Don't know how much of that Farage kept, but I suspect it's quite low.
