I wish it was. Really wish it was. But in 97 Labour ran the council. They are nowhere near here. If they do gain it it'll be good to see Labour back again in HH

I wouldn't dismiss it altogether, this could be one of those seats where Labour does better in parliamentary than in local elections (looks like the LDs enjoy some support in local elections amongst voters who might go another way in generals); but it wouldn't surprise me to see the Tories hold on, just. Penning's retirement does give Labour a slightly better chance

Penning's retirement does give Labour a slightly better chance I think the Lib Dems will be really working it. They'll fancy themselves in Harp/Berk. They'll be busing people over from st Alban's

Well some of them on these boards have said as much, but it is always possible to get carried away by the "high" of an actual election campaign.
