Are you suggesting that Farage set the whole thing up by any chance? No! Certainly not. I was suggesting that if it had been Oswald Mosley, or Nick Griffin, or (insert name her of a non-specific politician ion a foreign country) then the minders / bodyguards would have grabbed the assailant and beaten him/her up. The fact that Farage's minders didn't do so may be because of a lack of planning, or of foresight, or of management, or of guts. Or good judgement

Yes, it's entirely an attention-seeking exercise for her OnlyFans, which is presumably why she was so happy to talk to the media too. For a moment I thought you meant the Green Party candidate... Well, I suppose staying at home and making a living selling photos of yourself in your pants might be good for the environment.

Is that meant to be a prediction for the length of the thread? Perhaps we should do a prediction competition for the length of the thread for each constituency. Bla bla bla fault points nearest something something four weeks in advance nearest wins. I'm not sure a prediction competition where we can manipulate the outcomes of the results we're predicting would work... I agree, and I was being facetious with my suggestion. But of course we are also able to influence the results of local council by-elections in the other predictions competitions, by telling the voters in those areas about our predictions.

Tl;dr - hypothetical polling in January showed Nigel Farage winning 37% - 27% in Clacton

Weird inconsistency in the SoPN - most of the addresses are constituencies, but a couple give the district of residence. If you don't want your address, you can pick either constituency or local authority on your nomination.

The current version from the Electoral Commission has: And then this page of notes: It's easy to see why some people have put local government districts.

Unlike the Electoral Commission to provide inaccurate/contradictory advice 😏
Local authority council actually help some, I live in Cardiff East, if I were a paper candidate in West I’d rather the ballot paper just said ‘Cardiff’ than ‘Cardiff East’

If I lived and stood in Kenilworth and Southam but put the council name I'd be down as living either in Warwick or in Stratford-upon-Avon and would look considerably less local.

Something that seems to have gone under the radar (and is not showing up in the search at least) is that Arron Banks commissioned Survation (UKIP's pollster of choice in 2015 also) to do a constituency poll here with Nigel Farage named as a candidate. Reform led the Tories 37-27 with Farage, but only polled 18% without him (the Tories leading Labour 38-30) in that case. pollingreport.uk/articles/survation-farage-w-ill-win-clacton

Labour candidate meets Nigel Farage No, that's Dr Who. Ncuti's body, Tennent's coat, McCoy's jumper, Davison's trousers.
