It was sort of vaguely semi-marginal in 1997, the Labour vote probably coming particularly from Sleaford, but as you say it doesn't normally trouble the scorers.

Would be no.40 on Reform's target list for next time (and 64 on Labour's), despite both swings required being well under 10% now.

The fact that this is one of the shortest threads in the 2024 general election subforum says a lot about this quiet rural constituency. There are around a dozen seats in this section with only one post (the SOPNs) including at least two that actually changed hands. (one of them in timmullen's part of the world)
