Anyone know how Dennis Skinner is doing these days and if he's keeping good health?

Anyone know how Dennis Skinner is doing these days and if he's keeping good health? He is now 92 years old.

I assume Clark was interested in actual knowledge of Skinner's condition rather than information from a Google search.

About a year ago I emailed the MP for Bolsover:so if anybody is curious enough, the next thing would be to contact the Labour Party in Bolsover and ask them. But not while they are busy with the election campaign. My guess is that he has recovered from whatever his illness was and is living in normal quiet retirement at home. Just because he hasn't made any public appearances doesn't mean that he must be dead or very frail or whatever.

If you have read what I wrote then you would have noticed that I have left him in peace and that I have not contacted him in any way since he retired as an MP.

It’s still a bit odd though John.

Yes fine but chasing other people around asking after him strikes me as being slightly OTT as I assume you have no personal connection to him beyond political geekiness (which we all admire of course).

I have met him twice, if that counts.

The decent Green result here is kind of a mystery to me given what sort of seat it is and the complete lack of local Green strength - does anyone know anything?

That councillor moved to Oswestry a couple of years later and started the Green hotspot there too - he won a by-election to Shropshire council in 2016.
