Anyone know anything about the Independent Green Voice candidate in Hillhead. I am assuming if SNP falls to third place in primary votes or thereafter that a lot of it's final preferences would go to Green as the secondary preference candidate?

Despite the name, it's apparently an hard-right anti-devolution party, which has nothing green about it.

They've been around for almost 20 years, but hardly ever stand except sometimes on the list for Holyrood. Their founder and candidate here was basically chucked out of UKIP after dabbling in holocaust denial. There's certainly a case that their main reason to exist is as a spoiler party and the fact that this is the only local election I can recall them standing in backs that up.

As to your other point, yes, I'd expect either SNP or Green transfers to break largely for the other, so whilst I'd expect some improvement from Labour here, that might make it quite difficult to actually take the seat.
