So 6/13 going outright to ND, 3 will have runOffs between 2 NDers (!), 3 ND vs. Ind.; all in all not as good for ND as most had expected. Personally it came to my mind, that voters might punish them for the natureDisasters of the last months.

Last weekEnd ND had performed surprisingly well - and this weekEnd surprisingly badly: Having lost nearly all regional runOffs (apart from the PeloponNese) plus Thessaloniki plus shockingly also Athens (after all the nephew of PM Mitsotakis):

6 candidates ran:

- 29.64% Androulakis: the incumbent, strong on the land (Crete!), centre, favoured to win in the runOff
- 21.41% Doukas: the freshly elected mayor of Athens, representing the left wing (probably open to a joint front with SYRIZA)

- 21.12% Geroulanos: PapandreouJr.-legacy
- 19.52% Diamantopoulou: exEU-commissioner, served also under Papandreou jr.
- 06.03% Katrinis
- 02.29% Giannakopoulou
