This division is made up of the wards of Warndon parish North (which was a Lib Dem gain from Con in May) and Warndon Parish South (see above) – despite only getting 80 votes in North in May, the Greens would have topped the division by more than 400 votes from the Lib Dems, with the Tories narrowly third. However, the Lib Dems and Greens clearly did not campaign in each others’ target wards this May, so what happens when they go head to head remains to be seen.

Andrew Cross (Grn) is the victorious district councillor from Warndon Parish South (see above) from this May. Lucy Hodgson (Con) was defeated incumbent for that ward and previous councillor from 2004-2023. Sarah Murray (LD) is the victorious district councillor from Warndon Parish North from this May. Robyn Norfolk (Lab) is sitting district councillor for St John ward (on the other side of the city) since 2021. So 3 sitting councillors and 1 former councillor going for it.

        Surrey was not much better either, both of them are missing Candidates, Electoral agents and list of polling stations

Surrey is under Guildford as they doing it on behalf of Surrey Council they have said they will email the County Council to inform them that they should direct viewers to their page



Surrey will also count on Friday all others are on Thursday evening

The new boundaries for Worcester do away with this nonsense.  We have 3 new wards in the NE of the town called Warndon & Elbury Park (which is outside Warndon Parish), St Nicholas, and Leopard Hill. I hate these historic parishes which have been swallowed up by towns, and continue to give uninformative and irrelevant names to wards, and to which the LGBCE continues to pay obeisance.

Unlike Claverley, there's LibDem history here (and as much as it has gentrified in recent decades, Alveley itself has always had a 'not Tory' core that can be worked with even if they'll usually carry it easily at GEs and so on) so...

I think the report of 'Big LD win' must be based only on sampling, if anything.
