No independents in Foggy Furze or Throston, which makes Labour gains very likely. The Independent Union have stood aside in Headland and Harbour for the Conservative incumbent. I imagine Labour would have been far more worried about the reverse (Labour are now certainly the favourites).

Noticeable that Anne Marie Waters isn't standing here. She moved to Hartlepool and after rejoining UKIP (following collapse of her For Britain Movement) she had been talking about standing against Tice at the next GE. But she dropped off the radar a few weeks ago and is reported to have pulled out of the UKIP leadership contest for "personal reasons".
