The only constituency which doesn't regret it is Boston. Well, that at least sounds credible.....

However I feel I should point out there is an often-overlooked difference between
"Britain was wrong to leave the EU" "Britain should rejoin the EU" "Britain's relationship with the EU is a major issue" "There should be a referendum on rejoining the EU"
The percentage agreeing with the last two is highly likely to be much lower than the first two

It's the comments section to that article which makes me weep - "Davos-government lizard people..." I mean, who are they exactly?

What they see has happened is not what was promised. They see the harm it has done to the country and to their wallets. What they don't want is to go through the whole debate again. If Brexit were undone over night, people would be relieved, but they're not ready to talk about it. Yet. There are increasing numbers of voices asking why the Lib Dems are not shouting about this already and why Labour are seemingly backing Brexit now. It's because the public don't want it. Yet.

It's possible that the overall picture is about right, but the methods used for the constituency data... er... questionable. I really, really doubt that there's less 'regret' in agricultural areas than average.

I really, really doubt that there's less 'regret' in agricultural areas than average. Particularly not Penrith - the agriculture there is verg different from in the seats around the Fens (far more small employers on marginal farms) and the constituency didn't have a noticeably strong Leave vote. They may have generalised what is a genuine trend in some arable constituencies to places that are very different in character.

People don't think Brexit is a disaster, they think it was a fuck up, which is something different.
Asked to rank blame for the economic problems they'd rank Covid lockdown and Conservative malpractice higher.
If Brexit were undone overnight people wouldn't be relieved because the EU would botch our rejoining like the UK government has botched leaving.
If you think people want back in the EU you're nearing on delusion, the reality is people no longer want or trust the EU, but neither do they trust the UK national government, as they are both seen as liars and self serving with their snouts in the trough.
But you can choose to ignore my opinion, as I'm just an idiot who thinks we're better off staying out now we are out

People don't think Brexit is a disaster, they think it was a fuck up, which is something different. Split those hairs! Asked to rank blame for the economic problems they'd rank Covid lockdown and Conservative malpractice higher. people like you perhaps. If Brexit were undone overnight people wouldn't be relieved because the EU would botch our rejoining like the UK government has botched leaving. You'd love that to be true. If you think people want back in the EU you're nearing on delusion, the reality is people no longer want or trust the EU, but neither do they trust the UK national government, as they are both seen as liars and self serving with their snouts in the trough. People are heading in that direction. As I said, they're not there. Yet. But you can choose to ignore my opinion, as I'm just an idiot who thinks we're better off staying out now we are out We are demonstrably worse off where we are. We will stay worse off until we make another change. The Tories have proven themselves generally incapable. But they've also proven that Brexit cannot ever be what they promised. Labour's slogan 'make Brexit work' is just to keep brexity Labour - Tory switchers on side. They won't of course, because the nature of Brexit is what has done the harm.

Also: does anybody know what the general politics of this outfit are? I don't quite quite believe their claim to basically not have any beyond "WE SAY WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS SCARED TO!"
